PI System Conversion – Customer Thanks Crews
As part of an upgrade to the electrical system feeding the western portion of Presque Isle, customers are experiencing scheduled power interruptions and seeing activity as MPS crews change out transformers and rearrange other electrical equipment.
Will Flannery, Plant Engineer at Columbia Forest Products, wrote: “As you know the weather was absolutely terrible on Friday, March 21, 2008. The crews were here on time and they did all three buildings simultaneously. All the guys were very professional and did a superb job. They changed out transformers and swapped voltages on our pad mounts and changed the incoming metering on the poles, all in about 3-1/2 hours. They made sure we were back online and everything was fine in all buildings before leaving. I can't say how pleased I am with the service we have received from MPS and the professionalism they have shown.”
